So, lately I've been spending a lot of time watching Netflix. This seems to be a recurrent theme in my life when I'm feeling uninspired. I have been watching Pawn Stars lately, and the Old Man cracks me up on a regular basis. Picasso and I sit together and I laugh like a loon at the Old Man, and the dog watches me like I'm completely nuts. Maybe I am. Even if I am, I'm having a damn good time with it, so that's a-okay with me. Hell, at this point, Maya probably thinks I'm completely nuts. Like I said... Maybe I am.
I actually haven't touched anything "artsy" in two weeks. Normally that would feel like some kind of small death to me, but I'm so uninspired I've decided to take a whole month off. This doesn't happen all that often, but when it does it's disturbing. If I try to force it, it's like my ability disappears even more. I think the last time this happened it took six weeks, but I'm hoping to keep myself from it being that way again. So I'm "vacationing" and watching TV.
I've read three books already, too. That's something I don't do nearly often enough.
Now, thanks to Pawn Stars, I want a hot rod. You should have seen the one they re-did on the show just now. Holy crow. Picasso loved it too. I think he wants to ride around in one. ;)
